PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
The personal data you choose to communicate to us will only be processed for the following purposes:

On the basis of the performance of a contract to which you are a party or for the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request: to respond to your requests for information (contact form), to analyze your needs and to send you our quotations.

Based on your consent, we may place certain cookies on your browser (see Personal data and cookies).

On the legal basis of our legitimate interest in providing you with a secure, high-quality service that always meets your expectations:

• to operate, improve and secure our services, by collecting information about how the service is reached and used (“Usage Data”). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our service you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data;
• to send you commercial information about the services we provide, which we feel you should be aware of;
• to compile sales and visitor statistics for our services;

USES OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
In strict compliance with the purposes set out above, your data is processed primarily by our departments in the course of their normal duties.

It is also exchanged with some of our subcontractors and service providers (website manager, web host).

We require all these third parties to apply at least the basic security rules defined by the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) in terms of administrative, technical and organizational aspects, in order to protect your shared data against any unlawful disclosure, use, modification or destruction.

 

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA
Your data is kept for the time necessary to achieve the purposes described above, in compliance with current legislation.

If you are a customer of CÉCOA DIFFUSION, we keep your personal data for the time necessary to maintain your relationship with us, i.e. 3 years from the date of our last contact.

However, data enabling us to establish proof of a right or a contract, which must be kept in order to comply with a legal obligation, will be kept for the period stipulated by the law in force. For example, data proving your orders will be kept for at least 5 years after the order has been placed.

Connection data (IP address, date and time of connection, pages consulted) is kept for a maximum of 6 months.

At the end of these periods, they are then archived, anonymized or deleted in accordance with our archiving policy.



TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION
To date, no personal data has been transferred outside the European Economic Area. We use a European host for our site, as well as external solutions (payment, digital safe, etc.) hosted in France for our customer contact data.

 

USE OF SOCIAL NETWORKS WITH WHICH YOU HAVE AN ACCOUNT
In order to provide you with the most comprehensive services, we offer you the possibility of easily sharing the pages you visit on your favorite social networks. The use of buttons allowing access to social networks is likely to lead to the collection and exchange of certain data between the social networks and the site.

Our site uses social plug-ins on its various pages (“share” buttons on third-party social networks). When you visit a page on our site containing such social plug-ins, a connection is automatically established with the servers of the social networks, which may then be informed that you have accessed the corresponding page on our site. To protect your privacy, however, we have limited the information that is automatically transmitted in this way.

CÉCOA DIFFUSION is not responsible for the use made of your data by these social networks on their own behalf.

You have the right to access and obtain a copy of the personal data we collect and process about you;
You have a right to the portability of this data concerning data sent via contact forms;
You may request that your data be rectified, updated or corrected;
You may request the deletion of your personal data;
You may request that the processing of your data be restricted;
You may object to the processing of your data, on legitimate grounds;
You may withdraw your consent to the processing of data at any time, insofar as the processing is based on consent (this applies to the processing of cookies);
In accordance with French law, we give you the opportunity to decide in advance what will happen to your data after your death. If you wish to do so, please inform us at one of our contact points.
