Materials needed:
- ZiiPa Piana pizza oven ,
- ZiiPa pizza peel ,
- Stainless steel bowl that you can find in your favorite home decor and furniture store.
Ingredients for the Pizza Bowl:
- 180g of pizza dough,
- 100g of Rovagnati Parma ham,
- 1 fresh burrata,
- 80g of mesclun or salad greens,
- 5 Datterino tomatoes or cherry tomatoes,
- 1 artichoke heart,
- Extra virgin olive oil,
- Salt and pepper, to taste.
For the pizza dough:
- Preheat your oven.
- Take a stainless steel bowl and turn it upside down to form the base of your Pizza Bowl.
- Add a drizzle of olive oil to the back of the stainless steel bowl, then place the pizza dough on top.
- Place the pizza dough in the preheated oven. During baking, the dough will take the shape of the bowl.
For the filling:
- Meanwhile, prepare the ingredients for your salad.
- Cut the Rovagnati Parma ham into thin strips and set them aside.
- Wash and dry the mixed salad greens.
- Cut the Datterino tomatoes (or cherry tomatoes) in half and slice the artichoke heart and the strips of Parma ham.
- In a large bowl, mix the mixed salad greens, tomatoes, artichoke hearts and Parma ham strips.
- Season the salad with extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper, adjusting the quantities to your preferences.
- Once the pizza dough is ready, take it out of the oven and let it cool slightly.
- Place the prepared salad in the center of the cooled pizza dough.
- Gently place the fresh burrata in the middle of the salad.
- Drizzle the burrata with extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Feel free to personalize this recipe by adding other Italian ingredients you like, such as olives, grated parmesan, or toasted pine nuts.
