Pizza Luisa perfectly combines the flavors of Italy with a touch of originality. With a pizza dough base, a generous layer of tomato sauce, juicy cherry tomatoes, fragrant pesto and melting burrata, this pizza promises an explosion of flavors in your mouth. You will be surprised by its simplicity of preparation, and its irresistible result.

Ingredients :
To prepare Luisa pizza you will need the following ingredients:

  • 250g pizza dough (if you prefer to make it yourself, check out our homemade pizza dough recipe here !),
  • 125ml tomato sauce,
  • 200g cherry tomatoes,
  • 2 tablespoons of pesto,
  • 1 burrata,
  • Seasoning: salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil.

Recipe steps:

  1. Before you begin, preheat your Piana oven .
  2. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread a generous layer of tomato sauce on the dough, leaving a margin around the edges to form the crust.
  4. Arrange the cherry tomatoes, for a more colorful side, take yellow and red tomatoes. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and distribute them evenly on the tomato sauce.
  5. Using a tablespoon, spread the pesto over the cherry tomatoes, according to your taste preferences.
  6. Bake your pizza. Using the Aquila ZiiPa pizza peel , transfer your preparation to the preheated oven. Cook for 60 seconds.
  7. Once the pizza is out of the oven, arrange the pieces of burrata on top while it is still warm. The heat of the pizza will melt the cheese slightly.
  8. For a finishing touch, sprinkle with chopped fresh basil and add a few drops of extra virgin olive oil to enhance the flavors, salt and pepper.
