Pizza Margherita – the classic

For the Margherita pizza
- 250g of pizza dough (if you prefer to make it yourself, see our homemade pizza dough recipe)
- 150g of tomato sauce
- A few cherry tomatoes
- 150g of mozzarella cheese in pieces
- A few basil leaves
- Seasoning: olive oil, salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation steps - - - - -
- Before you begin, preheat your Piana oven .
- Spread the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface, forming a thin and even base.
- Apply the tomato sauce generously to the dough, leaving a margin all around to form the crust.
- Distribute the mozzarella pieces evenly.
- Arrange the cherry tomatoes, which have been previously washed and cut in half.
- Using the Eva ZiiPa pizza peel , carefully transfer the pizza into the preheated oven and cook for exactly 60 seconds until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, garnish with a few fresh basil leaves, then slice and enjoy your pizza. The fusion of flavors will make it an authentic and delicious dish for all pizza lovers!
