
Pizza Gina – the crown pizza to share

For Gina's pizza:
- 1 dough ball of 280 g
- 1 mozzarella fior di latte
- Green pesto
- 1 beefsteak tomato
- 5 slices of mortadella
- Basil
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Materials: 1 round cookie cutter
Preparation steps - - - - -
Phase 1: Shaping the pizza
1. Shape your dough into a disc, then using a cookie cutter or a glass, remove a circle from the center to create the crown shape.
Phase 2: Cooking
1. Brush the surface with a drizzle of olive oil
2. Bake for 90 seconds at 400°C in your ZiiPa oven, or 12-15 minutes at 250°C in your conventional oven (static heat).
Phase 3: The filling
1. Get yourself some pizza scissors or a long-bladed bread knife.
2. Carefully slice the crown open horizontally, like a sandwich loaf.
3. Spread a generous layer of pesto on the base.
4. Next, arrange thin slices of tomato, mozzarella, mortadella slices and basil leaves.
Phase 4: The service
1. All you have to do now is cut the crown into 6 equal parts.
