Ingredients :
To prepare Pizza Giovana you will need the following ingredients:
- 250g pizza dough (if you prefer to make it yourself, check out our homemade pizza dough recipe here! ),
- 20cl of tomato sauce,
- 125g mozzarella,
- 3 black olives,
- Seasoning: olive oil, salt and pepper.
Recipe steps:
1. Before you begin, preheat your Piana oven .
2. For the bear's head, roll out 200g of dough on a lightly floured surface to obtain a round, thin and uniform base.
3. For the ears, take the remaining 50g of dough and divide it in two to form two small balls of dough. Roll them out, place them on each side of the base to form the bear's head.
4. Spread the tomato sauce generously on the dough, leaving a border all around to form the crust.
5. Cut the mozzarella pieces or take some already cut or grated and distribute them evenly on the pizza.
6. Place two black olives at the top of the bear's face to form the eyes and one olive in the middle for the nose.
7. Bake your pizza. Using the Aquila ZiiPa peel , transfer your preparation to the preheated oven. Cook for 60 seconds.
