Ingredients for the Maria pizza :
- 250g pizza dough
- 3 tablespoons green pesto
- A dozen cherry tomatoes
- Olive oil
- 1 burrata (optional, for those with a sweet tooth)
Preparation steps:
1. Preheat your Piana pizza oven.
2. Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Form a round, thin and even base.
3. Generously apply the tablespoons of green pesto, leaving a margin all around to form the crust.
4. After washing the cherry tomatoes, cut them in half and arrange them randomly over the pesto, making sure they are evenly distributed for an attractive presentation and even cooking.
5. Drizzle the olive oil over the entire pizza to add flavour and make it easier to cook the tomatoes.
6. Once your oven is preheated, place your pizza in the oven using the Eva pizza peel and bake for 90 seconds!
