Difficulty level: Easy
Preparation time: 15 min
Cooking time: 1 min to 1 min 30

Equipment required:
- Piana ZiiPa pizza oven
- Eva ZiiPa perforated pizza peel

ZiiPa little extras:
- Sora beech pizza board
- Pozzello pizza cutter
- Aquino rolling pizza knife

Ingredients:
To prepare the Rosa pizza, you'll need the following ingredients:

  • 250g pizza dough (if you prefer to make your own, check out our homemade pizza dough recipe here!),
  • 20cl tomato sauce,
  • 1-2 balls of mozzarella,
  • A few yellow cherry tomatoes,
  • Seasoning: olive oil, salt and pepper.

Recipe steps:
1 - Before you start, prepare your ingredients. Slice the mozzarella and leave to drain, either on sheets of kitchen paper or in a colander set over a bowl. This will remove most of the whey and prevent the mozzarella from falling apart.
2 - Halve the yellow cherry tomatoes and set aside.
3 - Meanwhile, preheat your Piana pizza oven.
4 - Spread the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface, forming a thin, even base
5 - Apply the tomato sauce generously to the dough, leaving a margin all around to form the crust.
6 - After the mozzarella slices have drained, arrange them on top of the tomato sauce to form the petals of a flower.
7 - Place a tomato half in the center of the mozzarella slices to form a flower.
8 - Add a light drizzle of olive oil.
9 - Then, using the Eva ZiiPa perforated pizza peel, carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven and bake for up to 90 seconds, until the crust is golden brown.
10 - Remove from the oven, place a few basil leaves on top, cut out and enjoy this delicious Pizza Rosa.
